“ We were only in Torrington for a few days, and visited Cravings the first morning we were there: it was so good that we went back for breakfast on our last morning. I had the BYO breakfast sandwich both times; I had it made with sourdough toast and added bacon and sliced avocado. SO delicious and very filling. The first time, my companion ordered and enjoyed the French Toast, while the second time he got and raved about the cherry cheesecake danish. The espresso machine wasn't working either time, so some of the coffee drinks weren't available. I don't drink coffee, but was happy to get a large skim milk (they also had whole, 2%, and almond); my companion was fine with regular drip coffee. The staff were super friendly and the bathroom was spotless. I enjoyed looking at the art on the walls--and it's for sale! We look forward to visiting this place again next time we're in town. ”
“ Newly reopened! My boyfriend and I went for lunch, and the ambiance is perfect. Both of our sandwiches were really good! The fries have rosemary, which I was apprehensive about at first; but ended up loving! Service was nice & friendly. Excited to try more! ”
“ Cravings is a new restaurant in Torrington where the old GE repair shop used to be. (Maybe not GE, but I remember washers and dryers in the windows) You'd never be able to tell now. There's parking in front of the building with a bit of a lip coming in and out. The interior is mostly black and white with pops of color and elegance. There's table and bar seating like a classic diner. They do take out as well. They serve breakfast and lunch food. I had a turkey avocado sandwich - it was delicious; great bread, fresh turkey, and creamy avocado! It comes with a bag of chips. So that being said, if you're getting this to go, make it your last stop. The fresher it is, the better it is. ”
